Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear of consumables such as lamps and batteries.
Check the batteries are fresh and inserted the right way, ensure the head is fully fitted, and confirm the dimmer isn't set to minimum. If it still fails, the lamp may need replacing, see the IFU.
